The BCDC and the City of Berlin can provide below market financing for business development projects. The financing is provided on a $1 of private financing to $1 of Revolving Loan Fund financing match requirement.

The BCDC has worked with various federal agencies, such as the Economic Development Administration and Rural Development, to access economic development funds for business expansion projects.

  • Access to State Economic Development Programs:

The BCDC has worked with the Department of Commerce and WHEDA to access state economic development programs for business expansion projects.

  • Acess to Private Financing:

The BCDC has a working relationship with over 5 regional banks to offer businesses the best financing options available.

  • Team Network Member:

An organization developed by the Wisconsin Bankers Association to assist small businesses by evaluating business plans, reviewing loan requests, identifying potential government funding and offering referrals for technical assistance.

  • Improved Industrial Sites:

The City of Berlin's North Business Park has improved industrial sites available for development. The lots are priced on a sliding scale based on development value per acre.

  • Build-to-Suit Options:

The BCDC has the ability to build a manufacturing facility to suit the needs of a business. A lease-purchase option is available on build-to-suit facilities.
